インドの交通事情
The traffic condition in India
In front of the office, we hear the sound of honk all day long

インドの首都デリーでは、気温47度という想像を絶する猛暑が続いています。そんな今最も暑い(热い？)国、インドの交通事情について绍介いたします。
インドの道路はとても错综しています。车、バイク、自転车に加え、オートリキシャー、ゾウ、马、牛、ラクダなどが路上を平然と歩いていたりと、日本の路上ではまず见ることができない风景が広がっています。车线はあってないようなもので、交差点ではないのに前方を横切る车や、逆走している车もあります。まさに縦横无尽です。

I would like to introduce Indian way of life.
The temperature in the capital of India, Delhi is recorded as more than 47 degrees. I will explain about" hot" country's traffic today.
The traffic condition in India is very chaotic. There are many cars, motor bikes and strange things like- Rickshaws, Elephants, horses, cattle, camels etc.... which we can never see on the road of Japan.
Although there are traffic rules, most people don't keep them.
For example, people are driving cars without following their proper lanes; they usually intersect in other lanes or in opposite lanes. This is why there are so many accidents in India.

また、デリーはスコールが多いところです。日本にもゲリラ豪雨はありますが、日本との违いは、水はけの悪い道が一瞬で川になってしまうことです。私の寮はニューデリー事务所から车で15分の场所にあるのですが、スコールが来た日は帰宅するのになんと2时间もかかってしまいます。このことを上司に话したところ、ニューデリー事务所から120办尘ほど离れた现场に行こうと朝出発したにも関わらず、雨のせいでその日のうちにたどり着けずに引き返さざるをえなかった、なんてこともあったようです。私も移动する际は车やリキシャーを利用しますので、どうか无事に目的地までたどり着けますように、といつも祈っています！
Moreover during rainy season, roads become like rivers. In that case, the traffic condition becomes worst always. Normally, it takes 15 minutes from office to my house but it takes more than 2 hours in the raining season.
In other case, my superior explained his own experience. One day, he left New Delhi office forwarding to the job site which was about 120 km away from the office.
He could not reach the site within the day and returned to the office finally because of so heavy rain although he started office early in the morning time.
When I use a car or a rickshaw for my moving, I am praying to God for my safe trip to the destination.

このようにインドの路上では毎日何かしらのハプニングが起きています。日本とのギャップに惊いてばかりの毎日ですが、私もいつかこの环境に惯れ、当たり前だと思える日がくるのでしょうか???。
In India, something happens on the road every day.
I am feeling gap between Japan and Indian culture and every happening is very big surprise for me.
I am wondering whether the day will come to me when I get used to Indian way of life.
